"The Cruze has received an overwhelming response from consumers across India since its launch in 2009 and continues to be the largest-selling Chevrolet nameplate globally," General Motors India Vice President, Sales, Marketing and After Sales, Rajesh Singh said in a statement.
The updated Chevrolet Cruze, with all new automatic transmission, delivers improved fuel economy and also provides turn indicators on outside rear view mirrors, both of which are crucial for Indian road conditions, he added.

The updated 2014 Chevrolet Cruze comes with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission mated to the turbocharged 2-litre VCDi engine, the company said.
The car comes with newly designed front and rear bumpers, new dual headlamps, alloy wheels and fog lamps, it added.
