GMR Aero finishes Rajinikanth painting on AirAsia aircraft

GMR Aero Technic has completed the livery painting of superstar Rajinikanth on an A320 aircraft belonging to AirAsia, the official airline partner of his upcoming movie 'Kabali'.
A team of skilled professionals at GMR Aero Technic, an 100 per subsidiary of GMR Hyderabad International Airport, worked in double shifts for seven days for the project, an official release said today.
GMR Aero Technic is involved in the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft.
"Based on the engineering drawings shared by AirAsia, the livery painting of 'Kabali' has been done on the central fuselage section on both the sides of the aircraft.

"Apart from the livery painting for the promotion of the movie, GMR Aero Technic has also performed heavy maintenance work for the aircraft," it said.
The rebranded Kabali AirAsia A320 Aircraft will be leaving the hangar of GMR Aero Technic Ltd this evening, the release added.
