"The credit for the success goes to my teachers, parents and colleagues," Riar said at the function organised by School of Social Sciences affiliated to GNDU.
On her success mantra, she said the notes prepared during graduation helped in her performance.
"Set your targets and work hard to achieve the desired result," Riar said.
GNDU Vice-Chancellor Prof A S Brar handed over mementos to Riar and her parents.
She joined the School of Social Sciences in 2005 and passed out in 2008 getting the gold medal with distinction
