Only 13 overs could be bowled today because of bad weather and not even a first-innings result was possible.

Goa, who were tottering at 64 for four in 26 overs yesterday, reached 116 for six in 39 overs when the stumps were drawn for the final time today. Tripura had scored 278 in their first innings.

Overnight batsmen Reagan Pinto (40) and Rohit Asnodkar (22) batted for another six overs today, before the former was sent packing by Rana Dutta in the 32nd over.

SB Jakati (3) was the other batsman to get out today when he was trapped by Murasingh in the 35th over.

Brief Score: Tripura 278

Goa: 116 for six in 39 overs (RJ Pinto 40; MB Murasingh 3/36).
