"We demand that the existing draft of RP, which is being worked on by the government, should be denotified. A new one should be drafted taking into confidence all stakeholders like village panchayats, gram sabhas, municipalities, non government organisations and citizens at large," Congress Goa unit spokesman Yatish Naik told reporters here.
The state government has begun the process of inviting suggestions and objections for the draft RP 2021, which is likely to be notified soon.
The RP plan has been kept open for a period of one month for fresh suggestions and comments from the public, he said.
Necessary rectifications would be undertaken and by April next year, the government is likely to finalise it.
