In reply to Goa's first essay total of 302, Jharkhand today resumed at 154 for four but failed to surpass the visiting team's score.
Jharkhand lost their last six wickets for just 50 runs with left-arm spinner Jakati and offspinner Amit Yadav (3/59) wreaking havoc.
Goa then declared their second innings at 102 for five and set Jharkhand a target of 196 late on the final day.
