The festival is being organised by by Goa tourism department between May 10-14 in Panaji.
"The festival will feature Goa's very own brew, 'feni', and will have a live distillation unit on site to inform tourists about its manufacturing process," said a release from the department.
The state government recently amended the Excise Act and accorded heritage drink status to feni, which is made from cashew or coconut.
Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), in association with the Department of Tourism, organises this festival every year to showcase the unique culinary aspect and rich culture of the coastal state through various programmes and performances.
The entertainment line-up includes performances by national-level rock bands like 'The Local Train' and 'Antariskh' from Delhi, 'Lagori' from Bengaluru, 'Bombay Bassment' from Mumbai and 'Bad Blood' from Goa.
The festival will also feature Goa's very own singing legends like Sonia Shirsat and Joe D'costa besides local artists and performers.
