He told the Legislative Assembly that officials can visit residences of ministers but not of MLAs.
"I have issued a circular banning holding of the departmental meetings in the individual residences or offices of MLAs. Ministers are allowed to hold departmental meetings in their official residences," the CM told the House during the special session called today to pass Goa GST Bill, 2017.
Parrikar said that MLAs cannot call government officials to their residences henceforth for meetings.
Earlier, the Congress MLAs raised the issue stating that government officials are reluctant to come to their residences to attend meetings.

"I have witnessed MLAs calling government officers from various departments like PWD, Electricity etc to their residences and have meetings. This is not acceptable anymore," Parrikar said.
On many occasions, legislators humiliate government officials, he said.
"When officials are at the residences of legislators, the common public who go to government offices for work are put to inconvenience," the CM added.
