A newsletter on Goa police website mentioned the name of a boy, who along with one Surendra Prakash was arrested here a month ago.
The newsletter was uploaded around a fortnight ago, and the name was showing as of this morning.
Deputy Inspector General O P Mishra conceded that the name got uploaded on the website, but refused to explain how it came about.
Juvenile Justice Board has taken note of this.
"A meeting on Tuesday will decide whether to issue notice to Goa Police for violation of the law. Mostly, we will issue a notice," said JJB member and social activist Auda Viegas.

"The law-keepers should know the law first. This action attracts punishment and fine," said Viegas.
The boy was arrested when Panaji police busted the so-called 'ten-rupee' gang, originally from Trichur and operating in Goa.
The gang's modus operandi was to throw down a ten rupee note on the road to divert the victim's attention before running away with his/her belongings.
