Congress will hold a meeting in Delhi tomorrow under party president Sonia Gandhi, where the list of its candidates for next month's Assembly elections is expected to be announced.
The meeting is also likely to decide about the proposal to strike alliance with the like-minded parties.
"The meeting will be held tomorrow (January 10) in Delhi which will be chaired by the party president Sonia Gandhi," AICC Secretary Girish Chodankar told PTI today.
He said the formal list of nominees would be cleared during the meeting, and the announcement is expected either late evening or a day after tomorrow (January 11).
The Screening Committee, which met extensively in Delhi last week, had gone through the list of aspirants.
While names of all six sitting MLAs have been cleared along with names of four others, the announcement is pending about rest 30 constituencies.

Goa is going to polls on February 4 for 40-member House.
According to Chodankar, the meeting will also decide about the prospect of alliance with parties like Goa Forward, NCP and others.
"The decision on alliance is also expected to be announced by tomorrow evening in Delhi," he said.
While the formal announcement is yet to be made, Congress' state unit chief Luizinho Faleiro has already announced to contest in Navelim constituency.
The erstwhile ruling party was reduced to single-digit (9) in 2012 polls, which were swept by Manohar Parrikar-led BJP.
While two of its nine MLAs have resigned in run-up to elections, one was expelled by the party.
