Goa Press Accreditation Committee delegation calls on Delhi govt's DIP officials

A delegation of the Goa Press Accreditation Committee (GPAC) met the Delhi government's Secretary (public relations) Jayadev Sarangi on Monday to discuss various issues related to accredited journalists.

According to a Delhi government statement, various issues regarding facilities being provided to accredited journalists by the Directorate of Information and Publicity such as medical facilities, parking, bus and rail travel facility were discussed.

It stated that Sarangi opined that such type of interactions between two or more government departments should take place on a regular basis.

The members of the GPAC interacted with officials of the Directorate of Information and Publicity of the Delhi government.

The queries raised by the members about the press accreditation rules and other issues were also clarified by the officers of the Directorate, the statement said.
