Around 3,600 runners including 100 international participants from European and African countries, will take part, the organisers said today.
"I love Goa for its spirit. I am not surprised for the turnout as for me Goans are very enthusiastic, fun loving," Shilpa told reporters.
Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar will also be the Chief Guest for the flagging off ceremony.
"When it comes to fitness, I feel happy even to be a small catalyst," she added.
The Goa River Marathon will be held alongside the Zuari River.
