On the first day of the Assembly session today, the Speaker pointed out to the media a statement made by Reginald last week, in which he had alleged that the former was "biased" on the floor of the House.
Reginald was apparently responding to a question on Congress' angst over curtailing a number of questions allowed to be tabled during the ongoing session.
The Speaker today asked Reginald to apologise on the floor of the House terming his statements as "irresponsible".
Without making it clear whether the legislator has been given time to explain, the Speaker referred the matter to the House Privilege Committee.
The Congress legislators in Goa are upset over the Business Advisory Committee's decision to restrict the number of questions per legislator every day to 18, including three starred questions.
The Session will conclude on October 18.
