Gogoi talked to Dikshit over phone in this regard yesterday, an official statement said.
Dikshit, on her part, told Gogoi that the proposal will be considered accordingly.
In his letter to Dikshit, Gogoi said Siu-Ka-Pha was a great visionary king and his judicious policy of conciliation and rapprochement still continues to be relevant for national integration as well as harmonious coexistence of various communities and ethnic groups in modern India.
Siu-Ka-Pha, also called Sukaphaa, founded the Ahom kingdom which ruled Assam between 1228 to 1826.
