Gold prices on Thursday fell by Rs 30 to Rs 43,325 per 10 gram in futures trade as speculators trimmed their positions in line with a weak trend overseas.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for April delivery fell by Rs 30, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 43,325 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 2,865 lots.
The yellow metal for June delivery declined by Rs 20, or 0.05 per cent, to Rs 43,860 per 10 gram in 449 lots.
Analysts said subdued overseas cues influenced sentiments here.
Globally, gold was trading 0.58 per cent lower at USD 1,632.70 per ounce in New York.
