Gold worth 13.5 crore seized from near Indo-Bangla border

The BSF seized gold valued at Rs 13.69 crore from near the Indo-Bangladesh border between January and June this year, a senior BSF official said today.
"Since January this year till June, we have seized around 47.945 kg of gold from the Indo-Bangla border valued at Rs 13.69 crore," ADG BSF (OPS) Ajit Tete said.
The seizures were made in 26 raids by the BSF in the last six months.
