In the first case, the officials seized two gold wires weighing 233.550 grams concealed in the form of beadings around a brown coloured suitcase.
The baggage belonged to a man hailing from Kerala's Kasaragod district who had arrived here from Dubai yesterday, they said.
In the second incident, officers seized a gold strip concealed in a measuring tape and 44 gold buckles hidden in footwear from a resident of Kumble in Kasaragod district.
The operations were conducted under the supervision of Hemen Gogoi, Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Mangalore international airport, the sources said.
