Actress Minnie Driver says she almost lost her role in the "Good Will Hunting" as the producers didn't find her attractive enough for the part.
The 46-year-old actress, who received an Oscar nomination for the role, was talking about the rudest thing that has ever happened to her, reported ET online.
"I really can't (name names)because then I'll never work again, and I have to work because I have a mortgage. You know what? The producer of 'Good Will Hunting' did not think I was hot enough to be in that film, and did not want me in the film," Driver said.
The movie had several producers and the actress said she actually didn't remember who gave the note, explaining it "came from the top."
But co-creators, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, as well as director Gus Van Sant, worked to get her on board.
"(They) fought very hard for me to play that role. I am grateful to them until this day," she said.
