Goodyear Q2 Net up 25.84% at Rs 25.22 crore

Tyre maker Goodyear India Ltd today reported a 25.84 per cent increase in its standalone net profit at Rs 25.22 crore for the second quarter ended September 2014.
The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 20.04 crore in the corresponding period last year, Goodyear said in a filing to the BSE.
Total income from operations during the July-September quarter declined marginally to Rs 401.60 crore from Rs 406.53 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
For the first half of 2014-15 fiscal, the company's standalone net profit increased 23.72 per cent to Rs 82.24 crore as against Rs 66.47 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Total income from operations in the first half increased 4.76 per cent to Rs 1,221.22 crore from Rs 1,165.73 crore in the same period last year.
Shares of the company ended at Rs 651 per scrip, down 2.87 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
