"We are answerable to the public. We have tried to devise a system where answerability is more systematic," Rawat said after releasing a development booklet 'Nayi Disha Ki Ore Apna Uttarakhand'.
The booklet is published by the Information and Public Relation Department of the state to mark completion of three years of Congress rule in Uttarkhand.
On the content of the booklet, Rawat said it consists of the challenges faced by the state government and the efforts made by it to resolve them.
Other states have also benefited through this.

"We have taken a few decisions. We are working in a structured set up. The government has carved an identity in the field of technical and higher education.
"We are focusing on quality education. We have taken a step towards eco tourism and several other important steps in the field of tourism," he said.
Rawat said that the government is working towards social security..." have not only increased the pension amount but also expanded the ambit of scheme to cover a larger population. We are also working towards removing income discrepancy among people," he said.
Earlier at a programme in Madmaheshwari valley,the Chief Minister said the state government is committed to overall development of the pilgrimage centres and tourist destinations along with rehabilitation of Kedarnath.
Addressing the gathering after a Maha Yagya organised after 25 years in the premises of 'Bhagwati Ma Rakeshwari Devi' at Ransi Vilage in Madmaheshwari Valley, Rawat said all teerthas including Kedarnath and places of tourist interest across the state will be developed.
He said rehabilitation work at Kedarnath has been taken up on a war footing. This has generated trust among people from all over on the country.
The CM added that Ransi-Madmaheshwar motor route has been approved and money has been released to the forest department for Chaumasi- Kedarnath trek route.
Rawat also announced inter school status for the coming 2015-16 academic session for the High School at Ransi.
