Speaking at a seminar on 'Social media' organised by the IT cell of KPCC at Indira Bhavan here, he said state police have certain limitations in checking cyber crimes in view of quashing of some provisions of the Act by the Supreme Court.
As a solution to this, government plans to amend Kerala Police Act for effectively checking cyber crimes, he said.
Cyberdome, a high-tech nodal center for cyber security and innovations coming up at Technopark here would be operational after the local body polls next month, he said.
