State-run buses, trams will ply like regular days, a senior official at the state secretariat said adding that private bus and taxi operators have been asked to operate their vehicles just as in normal days.
The state has also requested the Railways including Metro railway to operate normally on the day.
Ferry services, totos, autos trams will ply just like normal days, he said adding that Railways authorities have assured of full cooperation.
"District Magistrates have been asked to keep a close vigil on the situation on Sunday so that nobody face any trouble reaching their respective test venues," he said adding that precautionary measures have also been taken to stop question papers' leakage.
Out of around 25 lakh appearing for around 6,000 Group D posts, close to five lakh examinees are from other states and 35 per cent are female candidates, the officer said.
