"The industrialists require 24X7 uninterrupted cheap and reliable power supply for setting up of industries and the state government should ensure that with subsidized rates as the first step and other necessary facilities will follow accordingly," the governor said while interacting with media at Rajbhawan here.
He said, the state government had already framed two industrial policies and should implement them practically.
Lamenting the pathetic road conditions of the state capital, the governor while, suggesting the government for long-term planning, said that tourism could not grow in the state if proper surface communication is not ensured.
"The bridge which is in a dilapidated condition if collapsed, the link between the twin Capital cities will be snapped," he pointed out adding, the state government should go for long-term planning to minimize maintenance cost.

He also expressed concern over the Itanagar-Poma road with many potholes saying that the all-important road that led to several tourist spots and important institutions needed immediate improvement to woo tourists.
"The condition of the road is so pathetic that one can rear fish on the huge artificial ponds on its surface. I have submitted 16 photographs of the road to the chief minister and PWD minister along with a note a few days earlier," he said.
"No film makers will come if the condition of the road is not improved immediately. We hope the government will wake up and do something to improve the state," he emphatically said.
He also suggested the state government to implement all the schemes with practical approach so that people are benefitted.
