Governors from Afghanistan in MP to study e-governance

Governors of 20 states in Afghanistan today visited Pipaliya Meera village in the district to study e-governance.
"The team is currently on a visit to India to study e-governance," Prof Vinod Sharma of the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) said after the Governors were welcomed by Pipaliya Meera villagers.
The Governors arrived in India on January 21 and will be in the country till February 4, he said.
Before Madhya Pradesh, the delegates have also visited the offices of the Planning Commission, Election Commission and the Parliament in the national capital, Sharma said.
The team's visit has been initiated by the IIPA.
The Afghan Governors will go back to Bhopal tonight and visit the Academy of Administration tomorrow to learn more about the e-governance measures implemented by the local governing bodies, he added.
