Govt arts college students stage dharna inside campus

: About 250 students of Government Arts College here staged a dharna inside the campus today, in protesting against the police lathicharge on students of Pachaiyappas College in Chennai some days ago and demanded that prohibition be brought in Tamil Nadu.
They boycotted classes and squatted at the entrance of the campus and raised slogans against police.
The agitation resulted in tense moments in the area for some time.
The students of the college in chennai were also protesting for implementation of prohibition.
