Govt examining Sanjay Joshi's request for enhanced security
"We have sent the letter to the concerned department. We are examining it," Minister of State for Home Jitendra Singh told reporters here today.
He was replying to a question on Joshi's letter to the Home Ministry seeking more security as, he claimed, he was facing fresh threat to his life.
In his letter, Joshi claimed he had received fresh threat calls on his mobile phone from three different numbers and also through letters.
Joshi had written the letter on June 14, a week after he was forced to resign from BJP following his reported differences with the Gujarat Chief Minister.
