The government today gave ex-post facto approval to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between India and Korea on trade remedy cooperation.
The MoU was signed in July during the State visit of President of Korea to India, an official statement said.
It "will promote cooperation between the two countries in the area of trade remedies -- anti-dumping, subsidy and countervailing and safeguard measures, which will enhance the bilateral trade relations," it added.
The decision was taken by the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
