She took the bribe for clearing his bill of Rs 8.96 lakh towards Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA).
Her predecessor, Suresh Chandra Sharma had tipped-off Lokayukta SP, Dilip Soni that Katara was demanding a bribe of Rs 5,000 to clear his NPA allowance of Rs 8.96 lakh.
On Sharma's complaint, a trap was laid and Katara was caught red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 4,000 as negotiated amount which was also tape-recorded by the sleuths before catching her, Lokayukta Inspector Prashant Mukadam said.
