He was speaking at fifth Foundation Day ceremony of the SIC.
The centre is unique in being a public-private model of partnership, a first under the Union Health Ministry where the investigative tests and management is under private firms while the government contracts the doctors and support staff.
"The government is open to the idea of setting up more such centres across the country," Nadda said.
He said that SIC which has gained national acclaim should continue the good work and improve the standards of institutional delivery and service.

"This centre is coming up very well creating an opportunity for the medical professionals to leave a mark in the field. But then there are threats too. As the number of patients increase, the delivery of medical care and its administrative capacity has be improved too likewise," he said.
Nadda also inaugurated the Vacusport machine, a high- performance rehab equipment for accelerated tissue treatment post surgery at the centre.
Established in 2010 under the leadership of Dr Deepak Chaudhary to cater to the needs of sportspersons, SIC is the only dedicated sports centre of its kind in the country, which provides world-class treatment for sports injuries.
Former Indian left-arm spinner Bishan Singh Bedi and former woman cricketer Anjum Chopra were also present on the occasion.
