Govt sanctions 7 posts of principal director in AFHQ

The Union Cabinet today approved creation of seven posts of principal director and 36 posts of director in the armed forces headquarters (AFHQ) civil service as part of a restructuring of the wing.
The government said the decision is aimed at ensuring better cadre management and bring improvement in the efficiency of the service.
"The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today has given its approval for 7 posts of principal director and 36 posts of director on regular basis in the Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ) Civil Service," a government release said.
