The government is all set to establish Jagdispur-Haldia gas pipeline so that a number of plants, including closed fertiliser plant at Barouni could be revived, he said.
The Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly and BJP leader Sushil Modi today called on the Union Fertiliser Minister and discussed various issues, including urea supply to the state.
Talking to reporters, Kumar said, "Government is all set to revive the Barouni fertiliser plant, it will be a fertiliser plant with capacity of 1.3 million tonnes of urea per annum and requires an investment of about Rs 6,000 crore."
State-run Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Ltd's (HFCL) plant has been closed for more than 10 years.

Besides, the minister said that he has assured the Bihar BJP leader that there will be no shortage in supply of urea to the state.
"I have assured him that there will be no urea deficit in Bihar. For the month of January, against the demand of 1.76 lakh tonnes a plan has already been made for supply of 2.15 lakh tonnes," Kumar said.
