Replying to a question during the question hour in Assembly, Khan said that the roads which have not been repaired in the last 10-15 years will be given the priority.
The assessment of such roads would be made after the district rural road plan is complete, by March 10, which will make clear the status of such roads, he said.
The minister also informed the House that under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) habitats of 500 people in general areas and 250 people in desert and tribal areas have already been connected by road in the state.
Khan said that the state government has launched a plan to construct 'Gramin Gaurav Path' in 9,894 village panchayat headquarters, and in the first phase, 1,973 works have been completed.
Replying to the question of Chomu MLA Ramlal, the minister said that the works of five of the seven roads, which were sanctioned but not completed, was underway and likely to be over by June this year.
