Addressing series of meetings in Doda district, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed concerns over the spurt in militancy incidents and worst ever ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
"Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre has failed to control these incidents," Azad said.
He said incidents of terrorism and ceasefire violations along the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC) by Pakistan have increased manifold in the recent months.
Azad also attacked Prime Minister Narinder Modi saying he preferred to remain silent on the killings of innocent civilians by Pakistan on Independence Day, and failed to give a strong message to the neighbouring country.
