Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda today assured Kerala MPs that a meeting will soon be called to discuss pending rail projects.
In the middle of a discussion in Rajya Sabha on private members' resolution on PPP model, he said the meeting will also review the new railway projects in the state.
Deputy Chairman P J Kurien said the minister can ensure doubling of lines in the state.
Kerala MPs have been protesting that the new government has completely neglected the state in the budget allocation and has not announced any new train this year.
