Traders said on fresh buying by stockists, supported by pick up in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly attributed the rise in gram and arhar prices.
In the national capital, gram edged up to Rs 5,400-6,300 from previous level of Rs 5,300-6,300 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,200 -6,600 and Rs 6,600-6,700 per quintal, respectively.
