Traders said besides easing demand from retailers, adequate stocks position on pick-up in supplies from growing belts mainly led to the decline in gram and arhar prices.
In the national capital, gram slipped to Rs 5,625-6,600 from previous level of Rs 5,700-6,700 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,600-7,000 and Rs 7,000-7,100 per quintal, respectively.
Kabuli gram small variety also shed Rs 100 at Rs 9,500 -10,300 per quintal.
