Traders said rising demand from retailers in the face of restricted supplies from producing belts mainly kept gram and its dal prices higher.
In the national capital, gram edged up to Rs 5,050-5,600 from previous level of Rs 5,000-5,600 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,400-5,600 and Rs 5,500-5,800 per quintal respectively.
