Gram, its dal advances on pick up in demand

Gram and its dal prices rose further up to Rs 250 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on pick up in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing regions.
However, other pulses including arhar moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
In the national capital, gram edged up to Rs 5,450-6,000 from previous level of Rs 5,200-5,800 per quintal.
Its dal local and best quality were up by Rs 250 each to Rs 5,800-6,000 and Rs 5,900-6,200 per quintal respectively.
Besin Shaktibhog and Rajdhani also quoted higher at Rs 2,410 as against preivous closing of Rs 2,330 per 35 kg bag respectively.
