Gram, its dal decline on fall in demand

Gram and its dal prices declined by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today owing to fall in demand at prevailing levels.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said easing demand from retailers at prevailing levels mainly led to the fall in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram, gram dal local and best quality were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,600-4,400, Rs 4,050-4,250 and Rs 4,150-4,450 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal): Urad Rs 6,000-6,450, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 7,000-7,200, Urad best Rs 7,200-7,800, Dhoya Rs 7,600-8,000, Moong Rs 7,300-8,000, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 8,100-8,600, Moong Dhoya local Rs 8,100-8,400 and best quality Rs 8,900-9,000.
Masoor small Rs 5,450-5,700, bold Rs 5,500-5,750, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,400-6,500, best quality Rs 6,500-6,600, Malka local Rs 6,800-7,100, best Rs 7,000-7,100, Moth Rs 5,600-5,900, Arhar Rs 5,800-5,850, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 7,200-7,500.
