Gram, its dal moves up on stockists buying

Gram and its dal prices went up by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on fresh stockists buying following uptick in demand from retailers against tight supplies.
However, arhar and its dal eased on muted demand.
Traders said stockists buying on the back of pick up in demand from retailers against tight supplies from producing regions mainly attributed the rise in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 10,400-10,600, Rs 10,600-10,900 and Rs 11,000-11,100 per quintal, respectively.
Kabli gram small variety also seen in demand and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 9,900-10,300 per quintal.

On the other hand, arhar and its dal dara slipped to Rs 7,000 and Rs 8,900-10,700 from previous levels of Rs 7,150 and Rs 9,100-10,900 per quintal, respectively.
