Traders said ample stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions against fall in demand mainly pulled down gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram slipped to Rs 6,800-7,200 against last close of Rs 7,400-7,600 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality followed suit and traded lower by Rs 500 each to Rs 7,700-8,000 and Rs 8,100-8,200 per quintal respectively.
Besan Shaktibhog and Rajdhani followed suit and quoted lower at Rs 3,500 each instead of Rs 3,800 each per 35 kg.
