Marketmen said some buying by retailers and restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly led to a rise in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram edged up to Rs 4,500-5,350 from previous level of Rs 4,450-5,350 per quintal. Its dal local and best also traded higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,850-5,050 and Rs 4,950-5,250 per quintal, respectively.
