Gram, its dal recover on fresh buying

Gram and its dal prices recovered by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on revival of buying by stockists following upsurge in demand from retailers.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range on little doing and pegged at last levels.
Traders said fresh buying by stockists due to some demand from retailers mainly led to an recovery in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,600-7,800, Rs 8,400-8,700 and Rs 8,800-8,900 per quintal respectively.
Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 6,200-7,200, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 6,500-6,600, Urad best Rs 6,600-7,100, Dhoya Rs 7,000-7,300, Moong Rs 5,300-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,800-6,000, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,400-6,900 and best quality Rs 6,900-7,100.
Masoor small Rs 4,950-5,050, bold Rs 5,000-5,150, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,400-5,900, best quality Rs 5,500-6,000, Malka local Rs 6,200-6,400, best Rs 6,300-6,500, Moth Rs 3,600-4,000, Arhar Rs 5,050, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,900-8,700.
Gram Rs 7,600-7,800, Gram dal (local) Rs 8,400-8,700, best quality Rs 8,800-8,900, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 4,000, Rajdhani Rs 4,000, Rajma Chitra Rs 6,500-9,000, Kabuli Gram small Rs 9,200-9,700, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 2,500-2,525 and green Rs 2,700-2,800.
