Gram, its dal recover on revival of buying

Barring a recovery in gram and dal prices on revival of buying by stockists, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.
Traders said fresh buying by stockists following uptick in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing regions, mainly led to the rise in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram, gram dal local and best quality were trading up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,050-5,400, Rs 5,450-5,850 and Rs 5,850-5,950 per quintal respectively.
Following are today's pulses' rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 4,050-5,650, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 5,100-5,200, Urad best Rs 5,200-5,700, Dhoya Rs 5,600-5,800, Moong Rs 4,600-5,300, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,300-5,500, Moong Dhoya local Rs 5,900-6,400 and best quality Rs 6,400-6,600.
Masoor small Rs 3,450-3,550, bold Rs 3,500-3,650, Dal Masoor local Rs 3,450-3,950, best quality Rs 3,550-4,050, Malka local Rs 4,100-4,300, best Rs 4,200-4,500, Moth Rs 3,600-4,000, Arhar Rs 3,950 Dal Arhar Dara Rs 5,700-7,600.
Gram Rs 5,050-5,400, Gram dal (local) Rs 5,450-5,850, best quality Rs 5,850-5,950, Besan (35 kg), Shakti bhog Rs 2,350, Rajdhani Rs 2,350, Rajma Chitra Rs 7,000-9,300, Kabuli Gram small Rs 8,700-9,900, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 4,500-4,700, Peas white Rs 2,525-2,550 and green Rs 2,575-2,675.
