Traders said some demand from dal mills against restricted supplies from producing belts led to the rise in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram rose by Rs 50 to Rs 4,275-4,475 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality edged higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,500-4,900 and Rs 4,900- 5,000 per quintal, respectively.
