Gram, its dal slide on sluggish demand

Barring a fall in gram and its dal prices, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today in thin trade.
Traders said easing demand from retailers against sufficient stocks position mainly led to decline in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, Gram, gramdal local and best quality shed another Rs 50 each to Rs 4,700-5,550, Rs 5,150-5,350 and Rs 5,250-5,550 per quintal respectively.
Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 8,100-9,000, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 9,200-9,400, Urad best Rs 9,300-9,900, Dhoya Rs 9,700-10,000, Moong Rs 6,800-7,300, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,400-7,900, Moong Dhoya local Rs 7,400-7,700 and best quality Rs 8,200-8,300.
Masoor small Rs 6,300-7,200, bold Rs 6,300-7,200, Dal Masoor local Rs 7,400-7,500, best quality Rs 7,500-7,600, Malka local Rs 8,100-8,450, best Rs 8,200-8,500, Moth Rs 5,200-5,500, Arhar Rs 9,450-9,600, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 11,000-11,100.
