Traders said stockists buying following pick-up in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly attributed the rise in gram and kabli gram prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 10,100-10,600, Rs 10,900-11,200 and Rs 11,300-11,400 per quintal, respectively.
Besan Shaktibhog and Rajdhani quoted higher at Rs 4,900 each instead of Rs 4,860 each per 35 kg bag.

On the other hand, arhar and its dal dara variety fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,700 and Rs 8,600-10,400 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold shed Rs 100 each at Rs 5,400-5,600 and Rs 5,450-5,650 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 5,850-6,350 and Rs 5,950-6,450 per quintal.
