Traders said increased speculative buying activity by traders amid restricted supplies from producing regions mainly kept gram and kabli gram prices higher.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality advanced by Rs 300 each to Rs 9,800-10,200, Rs 10,600-10,900 and Rs 11,000-11,100 per quintal, respectively.
Kabli gram small variety followed suit and gained another Rs 200 to Rs 10,200-10,800 per quintal.
