Gram, kabuli gram weaken on muted demand

Prices of gram and kabuli gram fell by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today due to reduced offtake by stockists against ample stocks position.
However, other pulses after moving in a narrow range in limited deals, pegged at last levels.
Traders said besides adequate stocks on increased arrivals from producing belts, low demand mainly weighed on gram and kabuli gram prices.
In the national capital, gram and its dal local fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,400-5,550 and Rs 6,200-6,500 per quintal. Its dal best quality also traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 6,600-6,700 per quintal.

Kabuli gram small variety also eased to Rs 9,200-9,500 against last close of Rs 9,200-9,700 per quintal.
