Traders said subdued demand from retailers against sufficient stocks position mainly led to the decline in gram and kabuli gram prices but pick up in demand from retailers helped urad and arhar prices to end higher.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,550-5,700, Rs 6,400-6,700 and Rs 6,800-6,900 per quintal.
Kabuli gram small variety also fell by Rs 200 to Rs 9,200-9,700 per quintal.
Arhar and its dal dara variety moved up by Rs 150 and Rs 200 to Rs 4,650 and Rs 6,600-8,400 per quintal.

Moong its dal chilka local too went up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,100-5,300 and Rs 5,600-5,800 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality enquired higher by the same margin to Rs 6,200-6,700 and Rs 6,700-6,900 per quintal.
